You know which clients have years of email, file and chat history, and which run organized operations. That makes IT providers natural connectors for AI data licensing referrals, as long as you stay in the connector lane and never touch the data.
Who this is for
IT providers whose clients are established businesses with real teams and several years of records in their systems. Which companies qualify is set by the program; see industry guides for the kinds of firms that often keep the right records.
How it works
- Introduce only clients you know who'd want to hear about it.
- The client works with the program directly. You never handle their data, exports or logins, even if they ask.
- If a Qualified Deal closes, the program pays the referral fee. It isn't deducted from the client's payment.
Rules and conflicts to check
- Your MSA and data-processing terms may limit what you can discuss or do with client information. Keep the referral to an introduction.
- Never share client system details, user counts or data samples with anyone.
- Disclose that you may earn a fee.
Never use bought lists, mass email, or touch company data or logins.
A simple, honest way to bring it up
“Quick one: some established businesses are licensing a de-identified copy of their operating records to AI builders. You keep the originals, checking is free, and I wouldn't touch any of it; you'd deal with the program directly. I'm a referral partner, so the program pays me a fee if a deal closes. Want the overview?”
Referral fee terms
